Guest Information

Guest Information

If you have been invited to a wedding or event at Ballymagarvey Village, we look forward to welcoming you to the venue. Below is some information you may find useful in advance of your visit.

Visiting Ballymagarvey

Ballymagarvey Village is a private and exclusive venue and is only open to invited guests during events. Should you need to visit us in advance of your stay, please email or call us to arrange a suitable time. Our office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday – Sunday.

ACCOMMODATION

Staying at Ballymagarvey Village

Ballymagarvey Village has a total of 42 bedrooms in the Manor House and Courtyard, accommodating up to 84 guests. The wedding couple will generally allocate the 9 bedrooms in the Manor House to their close family and friends. Any rooms that the couple do not allocate, are available for Ballymagarvey to offer to guests on a first come, first served basis.

If Ballymagarvey Village is fully booked, we can add to you a waitlist for that date and we can also provide a list of alternative accommodation options in the area.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT

Check in and Check out

Check in for guests arriving from a church wedding is from 3pm. When the wedding ceremony is on site, check in takes place after the ceremony, from 3.30pm. For a ceremony on site, access to the grounds is from 2.30pm and we ask that guests arrive to the venue ready, as early check in cannot be facilitated and public changing facilities are very limited.

Check out is strictly at 12 noon on the day of departure.

Parking

There is ample parking on-site, and a member of our team will meet you at the entrance to direct you on arrival. Guests check in at reception, located in the car park, and the Manor House and Courtyard is just a very short walk away.
No parking is permitted at the front of the house except for wedding cars being used for photographs.
Parking is at your own risk and cars left overnight must be collected by 1pm the following day.

Children

We have an open courtyard in Ballymagarvey, with a steam running through it, as well as a waterfall and pond on the grounds. We are delighted to welcome children to weddings and events at Ballymagarvey Village, however, to ensure their safety, they must be supervised at all times.

Children under 12 years of age are not permitted to stay overnight in a room on their own and must stay with an adult.

Taxis

If you are not staying on site and require a taxi home, we encourage you to arrange this in advance, to guarantee availability. We will provide you with local taxi contact details on the day of the wedding, should you require it, and again, we would encourage you to book early in the day/evening to avoid disappointment.

Lost Property

Ballymagarvey Village are not responsible for any loss of, or damage to, personal property, equipment or vehicles, including any contents left on the premises.
